A Day Off...
With a schedule that includes lots of driving and little sleep, a day off seems odd.
I finally have a day off today. Sort of.
Well, what is a real "Day Off"? A day to relax, guilt-free, and do whatever neglected hobby you enjoy, or even just be able to watch a TV show????
NO! It's a day to try and do some laundry, clean areas that appear to be noticed by noone but you, and it means a trip to the store to restock the cabinets and frig. "Day Off"?! [And I have a practice tonight with the Fine Arts sign groups. Our last one before competition Friday.]
BUT...here I am, on the computer, because a part of me seems to be just as rebellious as my teenagers. Hummmm....
What does that say about me as a Mom? Probably not good.
I just wonder how you all do it? How do you have the energy to work and keep house? I know some of you do not sleep much at all, so how do you do it all?
Come on, guys, I really need to know.
Alright, now I'm off to get busy....See ya on my next "Day Off".

How do I do it? I let things slide - like the house and the laundry. It will always be there
I hear you, sistah! I'm the same as you. I always start my days "off" with a list of things to accomplish but end up being rebellious. There's nothing wrong with that. We have to recharge somehow.
